WATCH: How to Install Arch Linux

This video shown you how to install Arch Linux. As we Know, Arch Linux is a simple and lightweight linux distribution targeted at competent Linux users. It uses ‘pacman’, its home-grown package manager, to provide updates to the latest software applications with full dependency tracking. Operating on a rolling release system, Arch can be installed from a CD image or via an FTP server.

The default install provides a solid base that enables users to create a custom installation. In addition, the Arch Build System (ABS) provides a way to easily build new packages, modify the configuration of stock packages, and share these packages with other users via the Arch Linux user repository.

Arch Linux 2016.05.01 Is Now Available for Download

Arch Linux is an independently developed, i686/x86-64 general-purpose GNU/Linux distribution that strives to provide the latest stable versions of most software by following a rolling-release model. The default installation is a minimal base system, configured by the user to only add what is required for his purposes.

It was announced that the latest ISO version of the popular Arch Linux distro has been released with updated Linux/GNU repositories and software.

Arch Linux 2016.05.01 is the first ISO image of the Arch Linux distributions to be powered by Linux Kernel 4.5.

If you are currently running Arch Linux, you do not need to download the new ISOs to update your system.

You only need to run the “sudo pacman -Syu” command.
